Flower pot cake for mom

This a flower pot cake that we delivered on Mother's Day. We are glad to hear the compliment from our beloved customer (Sporting Ina) on how cute the cake is..heheh...Even her daughter gasped at the first sight looking at the cake & thought it looks like a real pot plant! She even mentioned to her mom that Opah will be delighted to see this *Awww...such a sweet girl*

Can you see the 'black' soil in the pot? Yup...we even put some soil on the flower pot cake to ensure the flowers grow well ;)

Mother's Day Cake - The famous rustic rose cake

This year, we received a lot of rustic rose cake orders for mother's day. They came in many sizes and colors but there was this one color that was rather unusual. When most of the cakes requested are in soft shade colors, this rustic rose cake was requested in striking red.

Skeptical with the choice initially (and not to mention the amount of coloring used..hehe), we were rather astonished to see the outcome. My...was it amazingly striking & it made us think the character of the person...a bold & amazing mom :)

A joyful Hi-5 Birthday Party :D

Birthday cake is for 2 adorable girls: Hanna & Nadyne. Thank you Hot Mama Shareen for trusting us with this :)

Chocolate moist muffin recipe

There are so many moist chocolate muffins recipes in the Internet but this has been tested to be the best..very yummy, minimum ingredients needed & very easy to bake.

Best of all tak payah pakai mixer pun !!  So, apa yang ditunggu lagi? Copy the recipe, go the nearest Giant, buy the ingredients and let's get the muffin started!

Ingredients (Bahan-bahan)
2 cups all-purpose flour
1 cup white sugar
3/4 cup chocolate chips
1/2 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
1 teaspoon baking soda
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1 egg
1 cup plain yogurt
1/2 cup milk
1/2 cup vegetable oil
1/4 cup chocolate chips

Directions (Cara-cara)

1. Preheat oven to 400 degrees F (200 degrees C). Grease 12 muffin cups or line with paper muffin liners.

2. Combine flour, sugar, 3/4 cup chocolate chips, cocoa powder, and baking soda in a large bowl (Dry ingredients).

3. Whisk egg, yogurt, milk, and vegetable oil in another bowl until smooth (Wet ingredients)

4. Pour wet ingredients into dry ingredients and stir until batter is just blended. Tips: DO NOT OVER STIR...your baked muffin will turn hard if you over stir the batter

5. Fill prepared muffin cups 3/4 full and sprinkle with remaining 1/4 cup chocolate chips.

6. Bake in preheated oven until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean, about 20 minutes.

7. Cool in the pans for 10 minutes before removing to cool completely on a wire rack and tadaaa...the muffins are ready to be ngap!

Try it out peeps!
